Gero, Gifu, Japan｜Kono Naka no Sato Shichifukuyama (Yamaya restaurant and inn)

Amazing, lovely place. I like everything, the food was super delicious and my host was very nice. I recommend to everybody.

Visited on May 5, 2023 I jumped in to see him while on a bike tour. It seems that it was only open for overnight stays for a while, but it seems that they will reopen with only two items for lunch: soba noodles and a set menu. Everything was delicious and I would like to visit again.

Seasonal wild vegetable dishes are outstandingly delicious. The house in the mountains is a little hard to enter, but the proprietress is friendly and will teach you various types of wild vegetables. The price is from 1000 yen for set meals, and the cost performance is good, so you can eat sweetfish dishes in the summer, so I would like to go there next summer.
