We ordered the set and every dish is excellent, especially the entree which is Hida beef, juicy yet with nice texture of the beef.

It opens at 11:00, so I was able to eat and move early. Even if you didn't make a reservation from the official page, when you asked about the one-day bathing ticket that comes with the hamburger set, you were guided to the entrance to the bath for an additional 1,000 yen. It came with a towel with the Suimeikan logo. I was told that there are baths on the 1st and 9th floors. As I went forward, I found a guide to the bath on the third floor.

First visit with lunch plan in March 2023. Baden-Baden itself has a normal Western-style interior and doesn't feel that big, so the seats are relatively close together. So people who are interested may be interested. It doesn't have the feel of a luxurious restaurant, but rather a relaxed, commoner feel. Well, it might not be enough for rich people, but it's enough for lunch, and I think the service is on par with hotels. As for lunch plans, Suimeikan has Japanese, Western, and Chinese options, but I was worried because I was traveling with children, but it would be terrible if my child said that I can't eat a course for an hour quietly and that the main dish doesn't suit my taste. Well, there's a children's lunch option, but since they're not that young, and Suimeikan is the place to be for children, I chose curry. It was my first time at Suimeikan, and I was disappointed that it was curry, but at this price I thought it would be a hotel-like beef curry that you would find in a retort with thin Hida beef-like meat, but in a good way. You were betrayed. The Hida beef has a real presence and is soft enough that you can feel the marbling, not the sinew. The curry has a demi-glace flavor similar to that of hash, and is sure to be spicy even for children. Maybe they asked me if the curry was spicy because I was with a group of people, so they made it sweet. As expected, Suimeikan (I think it is, but I'm just speculating.) It might be a little different for those who like spicy food, but it's delicious, right down to the rakkyo. Fukujinzuke is my only choice for curry, but this rakkyo is my favorite. A day trip to the hot springs costs 1,100 yen (1,500 yen for adults from April), so 2,300 yen includes curry and hot springs, which is quite a bargain. Includes salad, drink, and dessert. I saw children's lunches, but they had things like hamburgers and fried shrimp that adults could eat, but I'd rather have that too (lol).The other ones look delicious, but I can't stand staring at them. I guess I'll have curry for a while until my kids grow up (lol)
