This place is famous for the matsutake mushroom set and a few other combinations they have with matsutake especially in Autumn. The mushroom soup and rice is a must try even if you don't want to spend on the most recommended mushroom set lunch (2990¥ this time, but worth it 😋) While you're here don't forget to check out the sake shop and the kurikinton shops nearby 👍

I had the wagyu beef set meal. For an additional 150 yen, I had the rice replaced with bamboo shoot rice, which was a great decision. Not only the main meat grilled in foil, but also the assortment of sashimi was very delicious.

Although it is located deep in the mountains, the sashimi you can eat there is exceptional. It was really delicious. Golden cutlet with soup stock is even better. I felt that the shopkeeper's love was packed. I've been there many times and it's always the best. When I come to Yaotsu, I will definitely go only here. It seems that reservations are already required at night, so if you visit during the day, it is better to go around 11:30. If you are late, you may run out of food.
