This restaurant is hidden in a tiny little street on the right side just before the traffic light (with the river on the left side of the road) The Unagi are from Mikawa which is the name of the local area. The fish flesh is tender and juicy and the sauce is just right. A "Unagi-don" (Eel bowl) set includes a Soup and some homemade seasonal "tsukemono" is plenty enough. The restaurant is open almost all the year as there are no fixed day off.
I was finally able to go, Yayoi. Arrived around 11:30 on Monday. Check the parking lot at the entrance of the store, turn around and go to the parking lot of Odomukakefuurin Station, which is just behind the store.Go through the alley to the store. About 3 groups of customers ordered the eel bowl for 3,200 yen.While watching the charcoal grilling, the bowl arrived in about 10 minutes.The eel with its head and liver sticking out of the bowl suddenly whetted your appetite. The eel is fragrant and meaty, and the sauce has just the right amount of seasoning, creating a perfect balance with the eel. The amount feels just right. It may not be enough for those who are big eaters. The head and liver were all eaten in no time. Thank you for the meal♪
The skin is crispy, the meat is thick and chopsticks I can't cut it easily (laughs) The whole head and liver was a shock. Deliciousness comparable to Tashiro and Unami!
