More Comments at Google MapWhen it comes to ramen in the Arai area, Matsushaya is the place to go, and what I always order is the stir-fried vegetable ramen and kamoyashi ramen (without vinegar), available only on weekdays. It's a simple ramen with stir-fried vegetables on top of the ramen, but that's what makes it so delicious. I feel like eating it several times a month. The soft serve ice cream after a meal is also the best.
I live in the prefecture, but I'm not from Joetsu, so I didn't know that Joetsu ramen meant tonkotsu soy sauce. I also visited Omori Ramen, but I prefer this one. The only comparison is Omori Ramen, but compared to Omori Ramen, the ratio of pork bones is lower, and personally, I can enjoy the goodness of both pork bones and soy sauce, which is a good balance. I prefer char siew to be firm rather than soft, so this is my favorite. Is the amount the same for both, or is it slightly larger? If you like your ramen on the strong side, try Omori Ramen, and if you like it on the lighter side, go to Matsuzaya.
Today I had “Miso Charshu” which I have been eating for a long time🍴🙏 This rich soup is irresistible👍
