I think it would be nice to spend a relaxing time enjoying the scenery outside and enjoying conversation with the people who went with you. The kind mothers in the hall who are busy but face the customers are also nice! There is only one difficulty. Don't expect sweetfish cooked rice.

I visited during the Obon festival in August. The building is tastefully old in a good way. In a bad way, the corridor is not air-conditioned, so it is hot in the summer. I'm a big fan of river fish, and when I heard that I could have fresh sweetfish here, I entered the store as soon as it opened. The store clerks are locals and everyone is friendly. When I ordered salt-grilled sweetfish and seasonal sashimi, I was told that it would take about 30 minutes as it was slowly grilled over charcoal. Until then, I had visited Yanaba in front of the building, and it was okay, so I went there. The shop used to be on the riverbed, but it was washed away by the heavy rain in 2011, so the shop was moved to its current location. When I returned while I was doing so, it was just right from the sashimi. Freshwater fish sashimi is rare. The transparent body has a plump elasticity and a firm taste. Unlike sea fish, which has a lot of fat on it, ayu, which uses moss as its staple food, has a refreshing taste and no odor, which I personally really liked. By the way, sweetfish is also called fragrant fish, and is famous for its fragrant fish. Previously, although it was not at this restaurant, I was able to smell the natural sweetfish before cooking. Salt-grilled is also excellent. Except for the head, we gnawed the whole bone. The bitterness of the internal organs, which I was not good at when I was a child, has become a habit now as an adult. I went by car, so I didn't have alcohol, but there is no doubt that the taste of alcohol would be better if I didn't have to drive. The main body was also steamy and it was the best. Even though it's not greasy, it's moist and not dry at all. It's strange. I don't know if it's a natural thing, but there was a green seaweed-like substance in the internal organs that seemed to be eaten moss, so I wonder if it was an individual that grew up eating moss grown in clean river water. I think. It's delicious. As a bonus, the staff was friendly, and I was able to take a tour of the grilling area while waiting for the grilling. It was a very satisfying visit and meal, touched by the warmth of the staff. I want to eat it every season. Thank you for the meal. Parking was free.

It took a while for the salt-grilled sweetfish to come out, but that increased my expectations and it was delicious.
