Tokamachi, Niigata, Japan｜Genta Sushi

I had the special nigiri sushi set for lunch. It came with a small side dish, salad, steamed egg custard, and even a dessert, and everything was delicious, including the sweet shrimp miso soup. When the chef hit the scallops with a bang, the scallops moved and you could tell they were fresh, and they were sweet and delicious. There are many sushi restaurants that offer chawanmushi for lunch, but I'm often disappointed because I don't like the taste, but the chawanmushi here was very delicious. It's carefully made. It had edamame in it which was interesting and served as an accent. The owner and his wife were friendly and easy to talk to, and the atmosphere of the store was very nice.

The piping hot omelette is exquisite. I've eaten tamagoyaki at many different sushi restaurants, but personally, Genta Sushi's tamagoyaki is the best. You can enjoy everything from a la carte dishes to nigiri sushi. The price is reasonable and the service is perfect. The inside of the store is also clean and there is a tatami room. The photo shows the sushi I made as a wedding gift for my best friend. We also have game dishes, so you can enjoy the delicacies of the sea and the mountains.
