20231011 Wednesday Kimiya Shokudo Stir-fried vegetables set meal (medium size) ¥950 I will be going to Niigata from Tuesday on a business trip. Kimi-ya is currently a hot topic in Nagaoka due to its huge size. The food created by the funny owner, who has refused numerous TV interviews but somehow appeared on Bananaman's Greme, is the best! First of all, the waitress' brother is the best. When I order it, they shout out, ``I'm so happy!'' and then joke, ``I'll bring you a heaping portion!'' lol The image shows Western-style cutlet bowl for 1,000 yen, stir-fried vegetable set meal for 900 yen, and topping curry roux for 50 yen. I was surprised at how quickly the order was delivered. And I was surprised that it was as big as rumored. Also, perhaps because it's Niigata, the rice is delicious! I was impressed and felt like I had gained something from this. However, there is surprisingly little roux in Western-style katsudon, so Toppi's curry roux might be a must. The vegetable stir-fry is soy sauce-based and tastes like it could be made at home, but the large amount of Chinese cabbage does a great job. I was amazed at how delicious it was just by adding Chinese cabbage. A unanimous 5 star rating for the friendliness of the staff, the speed of service, the quality of the servings, and the delicious taste!! And of course, the ultimate thing was that I genuinely wanted to come again. I will definitely visit again.
