More Comments at Google MapFirst visit in several years (decades?). It all started when I was introduced to a local hot spring inn and visited it. There are many famous Hegisoba restaurants in the area, but this is my favorite. It was an impression that the noodles were getting thicker year by year, but it seems that the thickness has stopped. The firmness of the noodles may be considered too soft by connoisseurs, but I like the unpretentiousness. The only thing that bothered me was that the scent of buckwheat was less than before. The attached photo is the amount for one person, not half eaten.
I heard that there was a delicious soba restaurant at a nearby temple. The thick and chewy soba is mixed with a slightly sweet soup, and the more you chew, the more the aroma of the soba comes out. The crispy seasonal wild vegetable tempura was also delicious and full of volume.
For me, it was the most delicious Hegi soba I've ever eaten. The tempura was also crispy and delicious. I could also see the Tadami Line.
