I didn't go there for a while because it was too close, but it was really delicious when I ate it for the first time in a while! When it comes to lunch in Niigata Prefecture, ramen restaurants often have long lines and are full, making me think Niigata residents should eat more rice. So, I took the initiative and came to try the Western-style katsudon, which has been a popular menu item at Kanekoya since its founding. It comes out on a plate even though it's called a bowl. Katsu is on board so I'll just leave it at that. The slightly sour demi-sauce is the perfect match for the cutlet and is simply delicious. This is my favorite flavor of the demi cutlet I've ever had. For Nagaoka's B-class gourmet food, I would recommend this Western-style katsudon over the Italian one.

It had a nostalgic taste and was delicious. Starting in September, the store will be open throughout the day, with no closings from mid-afternoon until evening.
