I ate braised noodles and mini fried rice! It was more delicious than I expected! The braised braised meat is creamy yet chewy, and the bean paste and soup are sweet, but it's a very delicious soup that you'll want to drink till the end without getting bored! When the noodles were lifted up, they looked soft at first glance, but the medium-thin curly noodles had a firm and chewy texture that combined with the soup and red bean paste for a satisfying meal! The fried rice was also very delicious, similar to fried rice from a restaurant that I like. The mini fried rice has a lot of volume for a mini, but the noodles were a normal volume! Next time I'll have a large portion! Perhaps because I went on the first day of the holidays, the surrounding customers were lively with people having a drinking party! It was nice to have a shop where I could relax even in such a situation! It was worth the trip from Niigata city! (⁠◔⁠‿⁠◔⁠) I will go again

My current husband trained at Kikyo-ya in front of Nagaoka Station. I'm sure Kikyo-ya was from Sichuan, but Toka-san was Cantonese? Well, I hope it's delicious. It's a bit of a local rule at this restaurant, but you choose the menu from the strip of paper on the wall and pay for your order at the ticket counter. However, meal tickets are not issued, so it is a so-called advance payment method. It may be confusing if it's your first time. So, even if the fried rice is a normal size, it comes in a large size at other places, so if you accidentally get noodles and fried rice in a double size, the drive home will be tough. 🤣 The fried rice has a bit of a rich taste as it contains a lot of char siu, but the shrimp fried rice is mainly seasoned with salt and has charred green onions and shrimp ← A small shrimp called poobalan that is also included in cup noodles. It contains a lot of shrimp, and the seasoning brings out the flavor of the shrimp. The filling of the famous Cantonese noodles is piping hot, so cat tongues should be careful not to get burned, but the richness of the oyster and the soup are a perfect match!
