We (my husband and I) arrived shortly after 1100 on a Saturday and there was a line. We had to wait about 1 hour. We put our name on the waiting list located right outside the entrance and our order was taken. When we were called to go inside, our orders were served immediately. We got the egg white (1300) and chicken egg (1700) one along with the egg pudding. There is also just regular egg (1100). As the side we both got the wasabi. The other two choices were grated radish and plum. The wasabi and egg paired really well. It also came with rice and soup. The chicken egg set included a raw egg to pair with the rice. Everything was delicious including the egg pudding. There are three parking lots, one next to 7/11 with 3, one directly across from the location with 9, and one on the other side of the railroad tracks with 2. Picture on the building of parking locations. This place is easily accessible by train as it located near Kori station. I should also note this place is cash only.

It's often featured in the media, so we use it for lunch when touring in Okutama. I arrived early, 30 minutes before the store opened at 11 a.m., but there were already three people waiting in line, so I knew it was a popular store. If you write your name on the waiting sheet and wait, you can select the item you want to order about 5 minutes before the store opens so that it will be served immediately after entering. There are also white and crow chicken options, but first choose the standard dashimaki egg set meal, ¥1,200. Freshly made, steaming, fluffy tamagoyaki delivered within 15 minutes of entering the store and taking your seat! First of all, the appearance is 100 points! And when you take a bite, it's so piping hot that it almost burns your mouth! It's so delicious! The fluffy texture and the soup stock have a light balance that doesn't overpower the flavor of the egg, making it the perfect tamagoyaki. You can add dashi soy sauce, grated daikon radish, wasabi pickles, etc., but in the end, it's best to just eat the dashimaki egg and rice as is. I would like to come back to try other versions of the chicken, such as the chicken and the white one.

I was finally able to go to a store that I was interested in after seeing it on TV 🎵 I was able to enter the store right away as it was past the lunch peak (around 1:30 on weekdays). Two of us went there and had the Karasutsu Chicken Dashimaki Set Meal, the Shirodashi Maki Set Meal, and Tamadou Pudding. Of course the taste was great, but the staff's friendliness made me feel very good about my meal. I want to go again 😋
