Okutama, Tokyo, Japan｜Shimakatsu

20230715 - a lovely restaurant just located on the way to Tabayama village. What they served Soba noodles and some typical Japanese meals. I had fried pork rice with egg on the top today. It’s very delicious and also the price is fairly reasonable (¥950). This is a small restaurant so the seats are not so many. If you came kind of late, you might need to wait for a seat for a while.

The restaurant bis run by an old grandpa and grandma, I had a seasonal set that has all the seasonal vegetables, it's absolutely tasty !!

We are so lucky to have been able to visit Shimakatsu. The dishes were so fresh, and the atmosphere was so calming. Yes, we do have to wait for the food, but it is truly worth the wait.
