More Comments at Google MapIt is located on the 1st floor of a 2-story building, 1 minute walk east from Musashi-Hikita Station on the JR Itsukaichi Line. The parking lot next to the store can accommodate 4 cars, but the one in front is very narrow, so it's actually only 3 cars (apparently the structure of the parking lot has changed since September 2023). The store name is written as ``Mikarin'' and is pronounced as ``Meifarin''. It's not "Wow" but "Wow" (lol). I had been interested in this store for some time, but I was able to visit it for the first time on a Sunday in the middle of a three-day weekend. The inside of the store feels bright and clean. A couple? It looked like it was cut and dried. I think there were about 22 seats in total, including table seats only. The menu was extensive, and from the photos and descriptions, everything looked delicious. My companion and I can order Namachu (Super Dry 550 yen), ``Black Vinegar Subbuta'' (small serving 1000 yen), and 5 pieces of ``Juicy Gyoza with lots of vegetables'' (@ 80 yen, order from 5 pieces in units of 1 piece) Ordered ``Gomoku Soba'' (small serving 900 yen), ``Salted Shrimp Soba'' (small serving 1000 yen), and Almond Tofu x2 (@250 yen) (all prices exclude tax). ``Kurozu Subuta'' does not contain vegetables such as green peppers or onions, and is only made with pork. But this was delicious. The pork was surprisingly tender and flavorful. The black vinegar bean paste was not too sour, had just the right amount of sweetness and richness, and the bean paste had just the right amount of stickiness, entwining with the fried pork and enhancing the flavor. As the name suggests, "Juicy Gyoza" is juicy and has an elegant taste. The seams of the leather were so beautiful that I couldn't help but take a photo of it. When I took a sip of the "Salted Shrimp Soba" soup, I thought, "Oh! I can do it!" The vegetable stock, mainly Chinese cabbage, tastes good, and the combination of the seafood (juppuri shrimp) stock makes it very delicious. The amount of salt is just right. Although it has a bean paste-like texture, it maintains a suitable viscosity without becoming mushy until the end, and as a result, it doesn't get cold easily, so you can enjoy it without getting tired of it. The noodles were my favorite thin noodles, and the taste was quite good. The shrimp were really plump, well-prepared, and very delicious. In the photo, it looks like there are only 3 shrimp on top, but in reality there were 6 to 7 shrimp submerged inside. This time I made a small serving (approximately 140g of noodles), and it was more than enough for me. You can choose between a medium size (approximately 210g of noodles, 1,200 yen) or a large size (approximately 280g of noodles, 1,400 yen). The same goes for other noodles (prices vary depending on the menu). This restaurant may not use umami seasonings (chemical seasonings). Even if they were using it, it would probably be a very small amount. The dessert, almond tofu, was also delicious. The taste is strong, but the sweetness is just right, the texture is smooth, and the elasticity is pleasant. I thought that a restaurant like this doesn't skimp on desserts either. Although I didn't eat the ``Gomoku soba'' that my companion ordered, it seems like she was very satisfied. For the first time in a while, I felt like I was able to eat something made by a skilled chef. I can't go there often because it's a little far from my home, but I'm sure I'll come back again. A store that I can recommend to everyone.
I used it for lunch, and it's a very good restaurant. You can choose from three types of lunch. I ordered the Gomoku soba and my wife had the Ankake Yakisoba. They were both delicious. Free large serving, salad and drink included. The price, taste, and customer service from the owner and his wife are all 5 stars. The store was clean and I had a great time. The entrance to the parking lot is a little narrow and may be difficult if you have a large car.
[2022.11 visit] I visited on Sunday lunch. We had a lunch set of 3 kinds of fried chicken with oil sauce and spring rolls. The food is just delicious! I think the husband is making it, but I thought he must be a very good cook. Also, the landlady's customer service was polite and friendly and very comfortable. It's a restaurant I want to visit again when I'm in the area and want to eat various things.
