Awesome food and great service! The lady spoke great English and was very helpful. And the price is unbelievable. Gets busy on weekends though.

We offer delicious and healthy meals using Fukushimaya ingredients. Natural coffee is also delicious Plaza Inn Hotel is also popular because you can eat at this restaurant. I love the Fukushimaya group because they are so conscientious.

Recently (October 2023), it seems that they have started operating at night. (From what I heard on the phone, it starts around 5pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays?) If you park in the hotel parking lot behind the store, you can receive free parking at the cash register. It's empty at noon. However, please be aware that when the restaurant is open at night, it may be full with hotel guests. This restaurant is operated by Fukushimaya, a supermarket located in Hamura's main store. You have stores in Toranomon, Roppongi, Akihabara, etc., but is there an experimental element that can only be found near the main store? This is a shop that I sometimes feel like. Before taking your seat, first select your menu at the register, pay your bill, and take your seat. All are about 1000 yen + consumption tax. I also feel that the hospitality of the staff who serve customers is high. Tea, water, after-meal coffee, and tableware are self-service. As for the quality of the food, you can enjoy set meals made with very high quality ingredients at a reasonable price. If you're someone who can remember the price of each ingredient, you'll probably notice that the prices on the menu here are a bit off-putting, in a good way. By the way, if you eat rice of the same quality in Karuizawa, it will cost around 2000 yen. Personally, I'm happy to be able to eat freshly made fried chicken, which is often included in Fukushimaya's lunch boxes. The meat and potatoes made with Kuwa Suiryu pork are also very delicious. The menu seems to change at a pace of about every two months. Parts of the menu may change or the previous menu may be carried over, so it may be difficult to refer to reviews from several months ago. Also, even if the menu is the same in the same month, the contents of the miso soup may change depending on the season and ingredients at that time. It seems that bento boxes are also sold at the store, but the menu has a very random lineup. From what I've seen, there are ``croquette bento'', ``rice ball and fried chicken bento'', and occasionally ``dango'' and ``ohagi''. There are also once-in-a-lifetime lunch boxes, which are fun. As mentioned above, the name "Shikina" suggests that it is a wonderful restaurant where the ingredients you encounter will gradually change depending on the four seasons.
