I try sensai tempura soba. I like it very much. The first time I eat wild mountain vegetables. It taste unique and naturally delicious for me. Enjoy the hot soba after walking along the Takaosan. Try also the pudding for desert.

Excellent soba restaurant to visit after hiking up and down mount Takao. Staff are very friendly and courteous. They have English speaking staff as well as English menus. Can get hot or cold soba. I order a hot soba, and boy was it delicious! Came packed full of local veggies, grated yam, and tempura shrimp. Was not expecting the portion to be as large as it was, but I was glad it did because I was starving.

Tororo grated yam soba was cheap, filling and delicious. All you could ask for in a meal. Great stop for lunch before going up the mountain.
