Soba To Toto, Soba (buckwheat) noodle restaurant In the area around Mt. Takao, I like this shop best. You can enjoy real Soba and seasonal tempura.

The food and drink was excellent and a must try after a long hike. But, what stuck out to me was how welcoming and friendly the owners were. They took time to help me with ordering and giving suggestions in and around Tokyo.

It seems to be quite famous at the handmade soba specialty store at the foot of Mt. Customers come all the time, but the turnover seems to be fast. The soba was chewy and delicious, and the tempura was crispy and had a texture that amateurs could not imitate.
