Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan｜Daishin-tei

We have visited here twice. June and now end of July. Epic size portions, value for money. Staff friendly and an old style Chinese restaurant feel. Ok, not clean… but the food and atmosphere is amazing!

I wish I could have read more of the menu, because other tables were getting great dishes, including their famous (now I know) fried chicken. Come hungry, that's my best advice. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. It was delicious, but I had to walk away from it. It was so large, I couldn't finish it. A little run down, but customers were definitely enjoying themselves.
