Sohara is handmade soba noodles with a thin texture. It was early afternoon, but it was quite crowded and I went to the store for the first time, but everyone asked for a menu with tempura, so I chose Tenseiro soba. Other soba restaurants have a little tempura, but this shop comes with several types of tempura. The tempura was crispy and the shrimp was quite large. The atmosphere in the store was good and the store staff was kind. It is a shop that I want to come again

I stopped by on my way home from visiting a grave at Hachioji Cemetery. When returning from Hachioji Cemetery to the city center, if you head toward Route 20 (Koshu Kaido), you may encounter heavy traffic before you reach Route 20. Don't get stuck in traffic. In the vicinity of Hachioji Cemetery, like Jindaiji in Chofu, soba restaurants are very crowded, and the price is a bit touristy, but here you can eat at a normal price. There is a large parking lot, there are many seats, and there are tatami mats and table seats (large tables, 4-person seats, etc.), so it is safe to bring elderly people. On that day, I ate "Tenseiro" and "Jotenseiro", but the tempura was especially gorgeous and delicious. (I put Joten seiro in the photo) I think it's a store where you can enjoy various things such as dried bonito at the store.

A great family friendly shop. There are decorations that make you feel like you're in a different world, but I like the strangely calm atmosphere. I think the opening time is probably until it's sold out, but it's not that long, so it's best to aim for opening at 11:30. is pretty delicious!! ️
