I have been visiting this cozy little “chaya” (茶屋) located on top of Mt. Takao for more than 20 years. In fact any hike to Mt.Takao is incomplete without a meal here. My favorite dish is とろろ山菜飯定食 featured in the picture. Sit at the tables at the backside for a view of the forest beneath 👍🏼

Wonderful stop for some noodles after hiking up the Takao mountain outside of Tokyo.
