Today enjoyed lunch at Alibaba, a Japanese Curry restaurant near Yokota Air Base. I have lived in Japan for two years and I this was my first time trying Japanese curry. It was highly recommended by a colleague from work. The dining area was small and but comfortable. The staff consisted of one cook and one friendly waitress. My first impression was that the curry smelled so good that my moth watered. It was also delicious. I highly recommend this hole in the wall restaurant and I will return with my family to enjoy the good food. Returned after 5 years and I still enjoy the food. I upgraded to a 5-star review. Friendly staff and delicious food

Wonderful little mom and pop restaurant! Hearty and filling delicious food in a cozy environment. Menus in both Japanese and English. Cash only, so make sure you have yen 💴

Food was delicious. I ordered the chicken cutlet curry with cheese topping. The panko was perfect and the curry was on the side so you can top how ever much you want.
