This place seems to be well known among the locals. We stopped there about noon and the place was packed. A good place for a quick meal. They have English menu so make sure to ask for it! Our foods were exceptional!!! Not too salty but were full of flavor, hard to describe but you know the flavor did not come from a bunch of salt. Our nabeyaki came out in a clay pot and was super hot. The staff were super nice. The old guy (I think he might be the chef or owner) even came out and checked with us making sure if we had any questions. Not expensive at all either. All 3 of us spent about 3000 yens.

It is a shop that feels like an old-fashioned soba restaurant. I ordered the shrimp kakiage bowl. The established theory is that tempura at a soba restaurant is delicious. Here as well, the thick soup and freshly fried kakiage were quite good as the established theory.
