Niiza, Saitama, Japan｜Hidari Uma

Classic old style (80s 90s) homemade restaurant. Comforting food (karaage, tonkatsu...). Very nice for lunch compared to the chain restaurants in this Tokyo suburb.

It was a shop that was taken to me by a senior who helped me when I was a student. After I graduated, I didn't come back for a few years, and in a sense it became a memory store. My memories include many Western dishes. Among them, the Neapolitan was unforgettable and I was hoping to go back and eat it someday. I started eating at Niiza often due to work, so I was able to come to this restaurant again. I feel a sense of relief at the unchanging atmosphere inside the store, the prices, and the gentle customer service of the elderly owner and his wife. I ended up ordering a large portion. Originally, this restaurant was not the average one. For some reason, I feel like spending a lot of money. I may not be able to do it forever, but I would like to come back to eat here again so that this restaurant can continue doing business here for a while.

It is a wonderful restaurant where a gentle mother welcomes you in a quiet and relaxing interior. I think that all western dishes are reasonable and you get lost, but I got a jumbo hamburger. Demi-glace sauce was sprinkled over the deep minced meat, and it was delicious from the bottom of my heart.
