Wonderful katsu with all the trimmings! Lovely upmarket atmosphere and relaxed staff. A cut above the usual for sure!

Excellent flavor and consistency of tonkatsu, which is Japanese-style breaded pork. Very similar to what we cook in Mexico and LatAm. The key is also in the pork and how it is cooked and it is very soft. The sauce (little bottle) is delicious and is special for tonkatsu. I suppose they make it in the restaurant, which by the way is small but very cozy. It's a shame that due to COVID we have to order “take away”, as you can see in the photos, but we will eat there soon. I finish with the soup, it is miso but it is not very strong and I suspect it is made with broth from the pork they cook for the tonkatsu. The owners (Mr. and Mrs.) are very friendly. In short, the tonkatsu is highly recommended.

Mr. Fukunaga is a celebrity purveyor and I have always wanted to visit him. The special fillet cutlet has a strong meat flavor and is not at all greasy, making it a complete meal. The sauce, dressing, and pork soup had deep and gentle flavors. I really liked the homey taste and atmosphere. I'll visit you again.
