Being vegetarian and knowing no Japanese is not a great combination, but the servers here were wonderful. They knew enough english to quickly understand that I didn't eat meat, and were quick to clarify if fish, dashi, dairy, etc were ok or not (for reference im a lacto-ovo vegetarian). Probably one of my favorite meals in Japan so far - I would definitely recommend.
