This is a small Italian restaurant nestled in a corner of a European-style "nagaya (?)" in the city center between JR and Hankyu stations in Nagaokakyo. Each dish is made with a lot of passion, and you can really feel the chef's passion! While it doesn't have any strange decorations, it does have some clever points that shine through. Mussels: The taste was suppressed and the flavor of herbs was added, so I felt like I could have as many as I wanted. Paté de Campagne: Because it was carefully ground, you couldn't see the shape of the ingredients, but the flavors of the offal blended well, and it was very fragrant and delicious. Salsiccia and lentils: The buttery lentils were really simple and had a nice texture. The salsiccia is also of very good quality. Carbonara with truffles: The carbonara is truly delicious and classic, with the egg yolks and cream clinging to the noodles to enhance the pancetta and flavor. When you add aromatic truffles to it, it's the ultimate in luxury. Penne with gorgonzola flavor: Al dente penne combined with high quality cream and gorgonzola was very delicious. Roasted duck, fig and red wine sauce: The duck was not overly seasoned with strong spices, but was dressed with a sauce that brought out the natural flavor of the ingredients. I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce, which harmonized with the delicious duck. It's a great deal for less than 13,000 yen for 3 full stomachs!
The porcini mushroom risotto here is exquisite. This shop was featured on the Kenmin Show that aired the other day. However, I admire the modest shop owner who doesn't appeal to himself like that.
