Yamakita, Kanagawa, Japan｜Azumaya

The handmade soba noodles are exquisite, and this is a famous restaurant that you should definitely stop by when you come to Yamakita Town. The grated nameko soba was hearty, and the carefully made soup blended well with the soba and was delicious. Recommended for lunch on a day drive, as well as sightseeing at Lake Tanzawa and Sake Waterfall! Next time I would like to try the yam soba.

The soba and udon noodles here are handmade and delicious. Both the tempura platter and wild vegetable tempura platter are delicious. They used to have ``Boar Pot Udon,'' but when I visited a few years ago, they didn't have ``Boar Pot Udon.'' It was my favorite. Do the manager and his wife still get along well and run the store? I am currently suffering from a lower back disease and am unable to ride a motorcycle and am using an electric wheelchair, but I am on the way to a full recovery. Once I have fully recovered and am able to ride a motorcycle, I will come to eat a platter of wild vegetable tempura and zaru soba.

I used it for lunch. There are dam curry shops nearby, but they were all closed except here, so it was helpful. I ordered the nabeyaki udon (1,580 yen). Filled with edible wild plants and shrimp tempura, it's a great filling. The shopkeeper was also friendly.
