Antique store like furnishings in a house that will turn 100 years since it was built in 3 years. Very cozy atmosphere with great food and hospitality.

We were looking for a place near Odawara castle for a quick bite with a bit of atmosphere. This seems like a nice little cafe although we didn't go in with high expectations. Turns out, not only was this a lovely little cafe with considerable history and lots of retro decor, but they also made a fabulous lunch! We all had the "Otona set" (Adult set) which was a plated meal with a perfectly stewed hamburger, a small macaroni gratin, and a beautifully fresh salad, topped with their homemade nutty dressing. It had an orange slice accent, fresh from their garden, The set came with a drink (I had a single origin coffee that was very well prepared in mugs that reminded me of my childhood) and the meal was finished off with two delightful chocolates. At 1500 yen, it was a fabulous meal. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

The building is a renovated old private house, so the walls and ceiling are Japanese-style, and the floor is made of wood, making it a Japanese-Western style room. It has a calm atmosphere with a Showa era atmosphere. It's just a little bit back from the road, but it's really quiet and has a somewhat relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel like you're at your grandma's house. Adult lunch, there is a flag on the rice. The owner may look scary, but he is a very kind person who loves plants. Please feel free to talk to them and they will answer your questions in a polite and kind tone. The contents of the adult lunch will change depending on the purchasing situation. The dressing on the salad seemed to use 5 types of nuts and was very delicious. There are only a few tables and the restaurant is run by two people, so reservations are a must. This is one of the stores I would like to visit again.
