Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan｜American Diner & Bar, Funny’s

I'm not even a burger person and I was blown away by how good this burger tasted. It was so flavorful, I didn't know burgers could taste like this. I'm from the US and have had my share of burgers, so believe me when I tell you that this place is worth coming to. And I hesitate to say such a thing, but the fries were similar to McDonald's. I wasn't even hungry and ate all of it. The melon soda float was pretty good. And although I didn't try any, the cocktail menu looked genuinely delicious. I didn't plan to come to a burger place in Japan and ended up here because other places were full, but I'm glad I got to try this place. For solo travelers, there's countertop seating near the entrance and the atmosphere is casual.

The burger was really tasty. Really enjoyed the juicy beef. The caesar salad was well sized with fresh ingredients. You could consider the salad as a good meal for one person

Of all the places I travelled around the word, this is the one that reproduces most loyally the the atmosphere (and the food quality) of an American Diner! Very friendly service, excellent food and a unique feature: this is the restaurant that closest the latest in the whole Hakone area. In three words, #hakone_funnys is good, stylish and a lifesaver!
