Hidden at a corner near the Uenohara station. Enjoyed the food.

The station cafeteria is located right in front of the station pickup and drop-off parking space at the north exit of Uenohara Station. The signboard remains the same, but the outside and inside of the restaurant have been recently renovated, giving it a clean feel, and when customers left, the staff was cleaning the tables thoroughly. It was around noon, and the place was busy with locals and people returning from hiking. The menu is very extensive. Among the many popular items, such as basil-flavored cutlet and oyster curry fried rice, I decided to try the menu that has probably been around since the company's founding. As soon as the oshinka (homemade rice bran pickles) was served, I smiled and said, ``I'm glad I came...'' It's just the right amount of pickle as it looks. Chopsticks move forward. Both ramen and fried rice are half-sized on the menu, which I really appreciate because I want to eat both but my stomach isn't young anymore. I enjoyed the fluffy fried rice and refreshing soy sauce flavored ramen. I often get tired of the traffic on the Chuo Expressway and get off the Uenohara IC and take the lower road, but if there is such a good shop in front of the station a little further down from the IC, I will avoid the traffic jam next time. I'm planning to eat here as an excuse. Space is limited in front of the north exit station, and there is no coin parking. The store's parking lot is located at the end of a narrow road (dead end) with the station platform on the left, which is a difficult place where only light cars can be parked. Apparently there is a parking space on the way up the hill from the store towards the IC.

The restaurant in front of Uenohara station looks like a restaurant in the countryside, but when you open the door, it looks like a restaurant in the town. I would recommend it to anyone going to Okutama. The food was delicious ^^
