Isehara, Kanagawa, Japan｜Nishi-no-Chaya

This is a relaxing teahouse located a short distance up the Koma-sando path to the cable car station, overlooking the carp in the pond in the courtyard. I received two servings of piping hot boiled tofu for 1,500 yen and wild vegetable soba for 1,180 yen. It was very delicious. My stomach was full and the climb uphill after that was very difficult. Next time I'll stop by on my way home. ⁹

It was a nice shop with a nice atmosphere. The soba and tofu set is delicious. The carp swimming in the pond were cute.

The tofu dishes are delicious, and so is the alcohol. The owner of the shop is also friendly and fun. Yamakake tofu is recommended.
