Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan｜Beef pot Ukon

Wonderful restaurant with picturesque setting overlooking a stream. With extra 1000Yen you can sit outdoors, which is very nice. The food is great, today we had beef from Kumamoto. We also tried their beef sashimi but I'd prefer half-cooked beef TBH. Waitresses are dressed in traditional kimonos to serve you and they are pleasant and nice.

My wife and I craved for sukiyaki (1st-time in Japan 😅) as we got to Hakone Yumoto this evening under the rainy windy weather, and this place surely gave us a surprise with excellent service and great quality food! Had a great time interacting with the server (wish we got her name but was too shy to ask) and we were so full with great food inside when we left! Will surely come again if we visit Hakone again in the future!

We’ve been there for a lovely dinner. Everything was amazing from the staff (thank you Amy for your 5 ⭐️ service) to the food. I would call this place : Perfection Each glass ware is carefully selected to match the dish, the meat melts in your mouth and the view is like from Heaven. A bit pricey but you get the value for what you pay. A totally unique experience.
