Yamazoe, Nara, Japan｜Wanpaku Zoo

We were there 17 Nov 2019. Very lovely village ambience and good food. We had Hamburg and pork cutlet which were well-presented and served with very generous helpings of fresh and delicate salad. Value for money. We also bought some breads from the connecting bakery next door.

Cute little cafe and petting zoo. Makes a great rest stop on the way in or out of Nara.

It's that big in terms of scale, but A zoo where you can see the only goat tower in Japan. You can also feed the ducks, so it's perfect for bringing small children to the zoo for the first time. There is also a cafe where you can eat bread and cakes.
