More Comments at Google MapI visited around 11 o'clock on a weekday, so no other customers arrived until after I finished eating. Corona measures are also being taken seriously. I ordered Waraji Katsudon. It was freshly fried, piping hot, and the meat was thick, tender, and very delicious. There are two cutlets, so you'll be pretty full. If you are a small eater, one piece may be enough. I was able to use paypay. The parking lot is behind the store.
I visited for the first time in six years. It is a straw sandal cutlet bowl with a delicious taste that is as stable as ever. Two large pieces of cutlet are served in the bowl, and the sweet sauce is a big draw. This is 850 yen including tax. The pickles seem to be handmade, and are perfect for resting chopsticks. If you ask for the same thing near Chichibu Station, Hideyo will surely fly, but you will get change here. You can use paypay. It seems that there is an izakaya next to it, but I would like to visit it once.
The restaurant was large and had 6 tables that each seated 6 people. I think there is enough distance between each seat. There is also an air purifier. There was a big air conditioner in the wall, so it was comfortable even in the summer. There is a self-serve tea corner at the back of the store, where paper and pencils are placed so you can write your order and hand it over. I didn't understand it at first and was fidgeting, but the shop owner brought it to me. The father in the kitchen also served customers with a smile and was a very pleasant and friendly couple. For the meal, I ordered Waraji Katsudon (half a foot). The meat was tender and the seasoning of pepper was a nice accent. It came with a delicious miso soup with a strong dashi stock and a small plate with two kinds of pickles, making it a very satisfying meal. I once ate Waraji Katsudon from a famous long-established store near me, but I definitely liked Kanoko's better, including the taste of the cutlet, the atmosphere of the store, and the customer service of the staff.
