Really good, cheap “Western” food and ramen, served by a friendly older couple in a quiet, semirural setting. Unexpected, and highly recommend.

``Sanzokutei'' is known for its large portions. I heard that it would close in November, so I went there in July, when the heat was at its peak. This restaurant is run by a husband and wife team, and they have created a bandit menu to satisfy hungry local high school students. This time I tried the bandit pork cutlet set meal. Two big pork cutlets pop up! Crispy and delicious pork cutlet. Since I'm not young, I thought fried food would be tough for me, but I ate it all in one go. When other customers asked, ``Can you make stir-fried vegetables with the set meal?'', the owner happily replied, ``Yes, you can.'' I think it's sad that it's closing in November. Please come and see it before it closes. The warm smiles and food of a kindly smiling couple are waiting for you.

A large serving restaurant in Chichibu. The landmark is the stone pillar of the 4th Kannon sacred place in the Chichibu temple. Then just follow the information board. You will see the Sanzutei signboard along with the parking lot. The parking lot can accommodate 3 or 4 cars depending on how you park. When you open the door, there are two seats at the counter, a tatami room on the left, and four tables for four people. It seems like the old man is in charge of the kitchen and the old lady is mainly serving the food. Water is self-serve. The menu with the name "Bandit" will be a large menu. This time I ordered the standard Sanzoku Ramen for ¥800. A bowl with a diameter of 25cm contains 2.5 balls of noodles, 2 slices of chashu, menma, wakame, wild vegetables, pickled ginger, and 1 piece of fried chicken. You can eat it easily with the light soy sauce ramen. As you can see in other people's photos, the Sanzoku Tonkatsu Set Meal and the Sanzoku Katsu Curry have two pieces of pork cutlet. The toilet has a Japanese-style flush system, but it was well cleaned and clean. It was a store that I would like to visit again.
