We had a large serving (+200 yen) of omelet rice (950 yen). I was really hungry, but the volume was so great that I was visually full! smile The ketchup rice was beautifully wrapped in eggs, and although it was my first visit, I felt that it was an omelet rice that I could eat without getting tired of it. The shop feels like an old-fashioned coffee shop, but it's clean and nice. I want to go again.
I went there for lunch with a friend during the relatively warm month of February. Lunch time is early at 10:00, so come in time. Of course, we are the only customers eating lunch from 10:00. It seems to be both a home and a store, and the log house-like structure gives it a nice atmosphere. It's located next to the Chichibu Railway's detention tracks, so you can spend some time looking around until it opens. Two Seibu 4000 series trains were parked on the detention line. From April, the Paleo Express will also be running, so since I arrived at 12:20, it's a Western restaurant where I can also watch the steam locomotive. The ceiling inside the store is very high, giving it an open feel. The toilets are very clean, which is great. There are two types of seats: counter seats and table seats. The table seating is not a box, but a regular stool type. Since I was here, I ordered sirloin steak rice (3,200 yen), omelet rice (900 yen), and fried chicken (700 yen) to share with a friend. The sirloin steak is not high-quality Wagyu beef, such as A5 rank, so the lean meat is chewy and the fat is soft, so it is average in terms of cost performance. I don't remember being asked how to bake it, so I thought it would be a good idea to ask if there's a preference. I'm sorry that the photo of the omelet rice is half-finished, but when you break the egg with a spoon, the aroma of butter spreads out, and you can clearly see that the chicken rice was stir-fried in butter. I forget the ingredients, but I think it was just chicken and onions (maybe there were mushrooms?). The ketchup on the egg is just the right amount, and the salty taste is just right, without the ketchup being too thick as is often the case with omelette rice. It was a little short of belly bread, but I was able to eat it all. The wife in charge of the table asked me, ``Are you full?'' and I answered that I was very satisfied. If you order two servings, you'll be surprised. Stagecoach had a nice atmosphere that made me want to try different menu items again. I wish fried chicken rice would be added to the menu. Also, I wish the daily lunch menu had special drinks only at lunch time, but for all menus.
