More Comments at Google MapI stumbled upon this shop on a solo trip to Chichibu. A quiet udon restaurant run by an elderly couple. I love shops like this. All for 700 yen. Tempura is 100 yen. The noodles and sauce are both delicious.
I stopped by this shop on my bicycle on my way back from the Chichibu area. I've been to this store many times before. The sign at the front says you can take the udon noodles home, so I wonder if they are delicious? Isn't it delicious? I was curious about this, but since I was never around this area during mealtimes, I didn't have a chance to stop by. It was a coincidence that I was able to stop by this shop this time. When you step inside, the floor plan looks a bit strange, as if it was an ordinary house that has been renovated into a shop. When I entered the store and looked confused, a beautiful lady showed me to my seat. They also poured me a glass of water and brought it to me. The menu is posted on the wall. Surprisingly, the menu is visible from almost every seat in the restaurant. The menu is also well-priced, with everything except rice and boiled noodles priced at 600 yen. Also, for some reason, there are a lot of calendars on the wall. Additionally, there are plenty of ventilation fans. The toilet is Japanese-style, which is rare these days. I thought it was worth coming to this store just to see the restrooms. This time I ordered gravy zaru udon. It arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. The taste is gravy udon. The noodles are not too chewy and can be eaten even by the elderly. The quantity is a little insufficient. I regret that I should have made it bigger. It seems like you don't have to use a cash register to pay, so you simply hand over the money to your sister.
I had solid handmade udon and tempura udon with light soup stock. The ingredients and skill are good, it was a simple and delicious udon. I ordered a large serving and it was really large. The atmosphere of an udon restaurant in the countryside where you eat on a small climb is also nice!
