More Comments at Google MapIf you want to eat something local with little bit of Japanese history then I recommend this small tiny place with lovely older ladies in staff. You are at forward choose the size and you are ready to go. Ladies will help you if you don't understand. Taste of Soba was really great.
It's been years since I've been here, but it's still delicious! The live flavor of the buckwheat, the firmness of the chilled water, it's the best. The dipping sauce is also less sweet, which I like, and you can enjoy both cold and hot soup. The price is also cheap for this quality, 850 yen for a large serving. The closer you are to the city, the more expensive it is for tourist destinations, but this one is the best. The menu only has regular, large, and special sizes. For men, the large serving is a special serving. The parking lot is on the opposite side of the road from the row of shops, and I think it can accommodate about 15 cars. Purchase a meal ticket, pick up your own sesame seeds, wasabi, and kinpira, and choose hot or cold soup, or both. If you wait at your seat for a while with your soup etc., the soba noodles will be brought to you and you will exchange them for a stub. The soba seems to start boiling once you order it, so you'll have to wait a little while. It's quite crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, and even on weekdays, so I think it's best to go when you have some free time. Personally, I find it very delicious when I add the sesame oil I have on the table to the soup.
This is a restaurant where you can eat authentic and delicious soba noodles at a very reasonable price. The inside of the store is semi-self-service, so you can order Kinpira burdock root, condiments, and two types of soup (cold and hot) and take a seat. The soup is a gentle country-style soup, but if you add table-top sesame oil to the warm soup and eat it with kinpira burdock, it will give you a taste of happiness.
