Yorii, Saitama, Japan｜Tsubaki

This rustic restaurant is located next to the railroad crossing on the Hachiko Line and Chichibu Line, about a 10-minute walk from Yorii Station. It seems that the menu has been narrowed down and managed by the mother and daughter. Aimori-don with sauce cutlet and grilled ginger has a sharp sauce flavor that is not too sweet, and the rice goes smoothly. I think this is one of Yorii's hidden gems, including the interior that is full of the Showa era feel.

I entered the shop around 12:30 on a Saturday, and the wife and her son were managing the shop. The hamburger steak was home-cooked and very delicious, the batter on the fried chicken was crispy, and the kenchin soup had a lot of toppings. It's voluminous, and it's a great choice for ¥1,200 as "today's highlight." There were a lot of local customers coming, so the atmosphere was nice.
