The only (?) authentic Japanese restaurant in Hidaka. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is nice. I wonder if something like an old pillar is used? I also like the design of the store as it has an elegant feel. It's nice that there are not only tatami rooms but also table seats. Many foreigners are unable to sit cross-legged or seiza, and the vast majority prefer to eat while sitting on chairs, so if you want to take foreigners to a casual Kaiseki meal at a table, we recommend Asahi. To be honest, we don't use it often, but we have visited it many times for memorial services. Rather than being a casual place to go, it's more of a place to visit on a special occasion.

I popped in in the evening and ordered the Korai Gozen and Asahi Gozen. Sashimi and tempura were also included. Everything is made with care and this price is too splendid. I was surprised that there were various kinds of Asahi gozen. The grandmother's pleasant customer service and the atmosphere of the shop were great. I'll come back later.
