Just happened upon this nice place on the way to the zoo. All you can eat udon and fresh tempura.

Tasty udon and all you can eat tempura, rice just perfect

There are Takekuni restaurants all over the place, but the Higashimatsuyama branch is the only one that offers all-you-can-eat options, so I decided to visit there. When I went there at 11:30 on a weekday, it was almost full. But luckily I was able to sit down without waiting. When you enter, first buy a meal ticket. It's an all-you-can-eat plan for 980 yen, so choose only the type of udon. I couldn't tell the difference between curry udon and curry soup udon, so I had a hard time deciding between them, but I chose curry udon. This choice was a failure. The reason is that Tuesday and Wednesday were all-you-can-eat curry and rice. However, I was particular about the difference in the taste of the curry between curry udon and curry rice. Tempura comes with green onion, carrot, chikuwa, shimeji, burdock, and kakiage. The clothes are a little stiff. It was a really cost-effective restaurant with unlimited refills of udon, curry, and tempura. Apparently they have fried chicken on Thursdays.
