This was my first visit to Ishibashian because a local man at the roadside station recommended Ishibashian because they make soba in their own fields and it's delicious. I ordered Inaka Seiro and seasonal tempura. The bamboo steamer went down easily and felt fresh. The batter of the tempura was not too thick, and it was freshly made and served with matcha salt. If you pick matcha salt with your fingers and try to sprinkle it on tempura, your fingers will end up with the matcha color, so it might be better to dip the tempura in matcha salt. The tempura that day included maitake mushrooms, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, and green peppers. It seems that he didn't have enough companions, so I think it would be safer to have a large portion, as the amount might not be enough for some men. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the shop, the elegant soba noodles, and the customer service from the lady.

I heard from the locals that it was delicious, so I went there to try the country bamboo steamer and soba noodles. It's a small, cozy shop, but it's clean and well-organized both inside and outside, giving me a very good impression. Inside the store, there are only table seats and tatami mats, and there is no counter. The soba noodles were a little soft and the soba noodles went down smoothly, and both were very delicious. It was well worth the three and a half hour round trip. I would like to visit again someday.

When I went to Chichibu for work, I happened to see the signboard and decided to enter the store. It was a bit expensive, like a Bibili Maklima Christie, but it was just as good as a local soba restaurant! It's a big hit in the daily life where there were usually only Dowdon-like barsaws! 2 sets of country bamboo steamer, tempura, and homemade rice balls cost 2,600 yen! Please be careful as we are only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays! The tempura is of the highest quality with fresh vegetables and no shrimp! Soba, vegetables, pickles, and rice are all homemade! Maro is sure to repeat! By the way, the founder loves mountains. Sittarda with photos of Annapurna.
