The power of three large shrimp! The special Zaruten Soba costs 1,600 yen...Even though it's a little pricey, I think it's actually cheaper if it's like this. I'm a complete lunch refugee as I work during Golden Week. Perhaps because the weather was not good, the usual shop was occupied by a family playing nearby, so I couldn't enter... I went looking for a soba restaurant outside of business hours. Since it is near the Tokorozawa graveyard, many people seem to use it before and after visiting the grave... The store layout and atmosphere are quite nice. It's also fun to read the menu. For my first soba restaurant, Tenzaru was my only choice, so I ordered the ``Tokujo''. Arrival at the monkey in about 10 minutes. The soba noodles are a thin Sarashina type...and yet they bring out the aroma of the firm soba noodles. The tempura is impressive...In addition to the three large shrimps, it also has pumpkin, green pepper, shimeji mushroom, eggplant, carrot, and shishito pepper. The softness of tempura flour is a matter of personal preference, and I prefer it fried a little crisper, but this is delicious as it is. One disappointing thing is that there is no Tentsuyu... As someone who thinks soba soup and tentsuyu are two different things, I feel like the restaurant is cutting corners when the tentsuyu doesn't arrive... It would be better if it at least came with salt... However, the proprietress of the hall also had good customer service, as she could tell with a sixth sense, ``I'm sure this person is an interesting person...'' It's convenient as a shop that is open throughout the afternoon!
