This is a Japanese kappo restaurant located in Warabi City, Saitama Prefecture, where you can enjoy authentic tempura dishes at stylish counter seats⭐︎ This is my first visit to the restaurant, and luckily it was just after 1:00 pm on a Sunday, and I was shown to my seat right away. Depending on the day, the restaurant fills up quickly at lunchtime. During lunch hours, there is a limited menu of tempura bowls and side dishes. Payment will only be made in cash. Special Tendon (bamboo)… ¥2500 Rather than having a crunchy texture, the tempura is moistened with the sauce from the tempura bowl. However, each piece of tempura is beautifully fried, and while the flowery parts of the tempura retain a crispy texture, the crispy texture of the shrimp and seafood kakiage is very pleasant in the batter. You can enjoy the contrast⭐︎ As for the ingredients used in the tempura, the seafood is firm and has a strong seafood flavor. The sauce has just the right amount of mellowness, and is a well-balanced type that is neither too thick nor too thin. There are a lot of toppings, including two shrimp, kakiage, conger eel, kisses, shiitake mushrooms, and two asparagus. Even “bamboo” is luxurious enough ⭐︎ They also have a satisfying lineup of alcoholic beverages, from sake to wine to whiskey. The way you can enjoy your meal without having to go to another restaurant after your meal is an amazing piece of hospitality⭐︎ Next time, I would like to enjoy it with alcohol at a gozen meal. I stopped by for lunch on a weekday. A restaurant with 10 counter seats. I ended up waiting for the store to open in time, so it might be better to aim for after 12 o'clock after one rotation. At first, I was thinking of getting a tempura bowl for 1,500 yen, but I thought I wouldn't have a chance to come here, so I took the plunge and ordered the tempura gozen (bamboo) for 2,500 yen! The ingredients were thick, the batter was thin, and it was very delicious! I liked adding salt. This time it was 2 shrimp, 2 lotus roots, kisu, conger eel, maitake mushrooms, and kakiage of small shrimp. Lunch is recommended as you can enjoy high quality tempura at a reasonable price! If I have a chance, I would like to eat Tendon next time.
