On a weekday evening in October, 2021, I had an errand to go to Iruma, and for the first time in more than ten years, my family of three visited the store at the same time as it opened. Alcohol disinfection is installed as a countermeasure against Wuhan pneumonia, but there is no partition, so it is preferable to eat silently to prevent splashing. At first glance, you may be overwhelmed by the surprisingly wide selection of products. However, yakiniku (grilled meat) has long been recommended. On this day, we ordered a large portion of the “Ramen Set” 980 yen, which includes ramen, yakiniku, rice, and pickles. If you are a big eater, there is no problem, but please be careful if you visit this restaurant for the first time, as the portion is large. In addition, the ramen attached to the ramen set is Chinese soba, not soy sauce ramen. You can also change this Chinese soba to salt or miso. Because it was vacant, it arrived in about 15 minutes after ordering. The Chinese soba is made with curly thin noodles and a soup that gives it a solid, old-fashioned feel. The soup used to be salty in the past, but I think it has become something that people of all ages can enjoy. The ingredients of the toppings are also simple, but the balance is maintained.
