I visited on Saturday at 13:10. It was the day of the Konosu Fireworks Festival, so the station was crowded with customers, and perhaps because of that, there was a huge line at this shop. There were about 30 people waiting outside when we arrived. But it seems to rotate surprisingly well. We were seated at 14:05. There are 3 waiting seats inside the store, and you can buy a meal ticket before entering there. Special Tsukemen with fresh shichimi added for 1,190 yen. Most of the customers ordered tsukemen, so it seemed like the noodles were being boiled rapidly, and there didn't seem to be any problems with the rotation of the noodles at the thick noodle shop. The rice bowl arrived in about 5 minutes, and Biju is definitely part of a famous restaurant. The ingredients are thinly sliced char siu, seaweed, menma, and seasoned egg on the noodle side, seaweed, menma, thinly sliced char siu, naru, green onion, and fish meal on the dipping sauce side. The dipping sauce isn't too sour, it's mild, and it's not too sweet, so it's well-balanced...but on the other hand, it might not have much of a punch. The raw shichimi tastes really strong. The raw shichimi mixes well with the noodles, but it's not that spicy so it doesn't add that much flavor, which is just right. The thick noodles are quite chewy and have corners, so they hold the soup well. It's a little too strong for me, so I might add just a little bit of the soup to it. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
I had to go to Konosu to renew my driver's license, so I looked into where to have lunch after I finished, and this restaurant came up. I visited this place because I was curious because there were many reviews saying it was a popular restaurant. Both the quantity and taste were outstanding. I think the delivery speed is within the normal range. It was quite a large amount even though it was a normal portion. I also ordered sides and was almost over capacity. There were quite a few people who left behind and went home. However, the rice and gyoza on the side were also delicious, so it was difficult. I later heard that some people made it a small size, so I think I'll choose that next time. The parking lot is a little narrow, but can accommodate 5 or 6 cars. It's so popular that there was a waiting list at noon even on weekdays, so we recommend arriving early. You can get there after a short walk from Konosu Station. Maybe walking is better. I would like to visit again when I have something to do nearby.
