Saitama, Japan｜和食 八のじ

I visited a Japanese restaurant called [Hachinoji] located in Minuma Ward, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture. There are 5 parking spaces in front of the elementary school, which is a little far from the store. The location is difficult to find, but you can search on Google Maps, so I think it's a good idea to search for it. The shop looks like it was renovated from a prefabricated building, and although the front side is beautiful, you can't see it and it looks like it hasn't been touched, which is nice. The inside of the store is very clean and has cute vintage accessories. Lunch is mainly a set meal. I ordered the limited edition Tatsuta-age fried chicken, returned bonito set meal, and oyakodon with loosened salmon and salmon roe. For rice, you can choose barley or white rice. There are a lot of small bowls, and all of them are delicious. I was surprised at how soft the fried chicken was, even though it was Tatsuta-age. All are really delicious. I would like to visit again. Please note that the last order for lunch is 13:30. Also, the dinner is a multi-course meal, and it looks delicious, so I would like to visit there in the evening as well.

This is a shop that caught my eye when I went to work at a company down the road. I visited with my staff for the first time on the way home from work. It looked like a store that had been renovated from a warehouse or something, and the exterior was stylish and gave me a sense of good taste. To be honest, before I ate it, I thought, ``Al Al, a Japanese cafe in a tourist area like Kamakura, where ordinary amateur food is served in a pretentious manner.'' That's a bad preconception. . The staff ordered a 1,500 yen seafood bowl, and I ordered a 1,500 yen set meal that included both sashimi and grilled fish. You can choose between white rice and barley rice, and refills are free, so I started with white rice. A set meal consisting of sashimi, grilled fish, small side dishes, salad, pickled vegetables, rice, miso soup, and Tamba black bean tea. There are three types of sashimi: tuna, blue fish, and grilled salmon, and grilled fish is white fish carefully grilled in a fish roaster used in restaurants. Naturally, I had to get a second helping of barley rice. Barley rice is something you don't usually eat. It was very delicious. Everything about the taste, contents, presentation, and bowls were at the level of a Japanese restaurant. I deeply reflected on my preconceptions at the beginning. By the time I was writing this post, I had already visited twice, and each time I was satisfied with the taste and content. It seems that the cafe next door is run by his wife, but I would like to go and check it out on a day when it is open.
