I started coming here around last year. After visiting various eel restaurants, Okita-ya is my favorite! Even though the grilled liver is only 500 yen, it is very delicious. The unagiju is also very cost-effective and tastes great. I would like to visit once a month.

The eel is well-grilled, but it is very soft and you can feel the oiliness of the eel. The sauce is lightly sweet and refreshing, making it stand out from the many eel restaurants that use a relatively rich sauce. This is the best eel restaurant in my life! I always have carp with it, but it doesn't have any bad smell, so I think even people who don't like freshwater fish can enjoy it.
