Kazo, Saitama, Japan｜吉野屋

From the seasonal items that I went to for the first time in over 10 years and are about to end. I had the chilled soup udon. The noodles were perfectly seasoned and chewy, making my jaw tired. I think this is a type of udon that has quite a strong chewiness even among Kazo varieties. The cold soup is rich and the udon and soup are well chilled. It was an amazing job.

Enjoy the owner's hand-made udon today. Because it is only open during the day, it was past 1:00, but the store was almost full. It's chewy and slippery through the throat... perfect for the hot summer. I also like the slightly sweet soup stock. We had a combination of meat nanban, but next time let's have a combination of curry nanban.

This is the second udon and soba restaurant I visited during my several business trips to Kazo. I went in twice and ate udon and tempura bowl, but the udon is good. It comes out quickly after ordering. Even though it's noon, is it because it's noon? I only stayed for 30 minutes. I want to eat soba next time.
