Otsu, Shiga, Japan｜Future Otsu

Went here in February for a Romantic dinner while on holiday. The quiet yet cosy and friendly atmosphere, the creative and delicious food menu, and the engaging chef/owner and staff made for a really lovely experience despite the language barrier. Highly recommend

Fantastic food, no English menus or photo menus though, so either speak the language or point and hope for the best. Food is Japanese western fusion and utterly delicious. We had a big group of twenty plus so we took up most of the ground floor. Staff did a set menu. Excellent everything, but the cheese platter was memorable and very good. Check out Tensen Shrine around the corner, beautiful at night!

I had the mixed fries lunch. It tastes good and has no complaints in terms of cost performance. With this content and price, I am completely satisfied.
